Pismo Beach -- Monarch Butterfly Grove

Thousands of beautiful orange and black Monarch Butterflies can be seen clustering in the Eucalyptus and Cypress trees at the Pismo State Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove every winter. From November-February the grove is staffed daily by our knowledgeable docents from 10 am - 4 pm, with talks given at 11 am and 2 pm. Located on Highway 1 just south of the Pismo State Beach North Beach Campground the grove offers FREE admission and FREE parking. Don't miss this spectacular wonder of nature.
